These participatory classes, conducted live on Zoom, will teach you functional movements to increase your strength, flexibility and balance. You will learn dynamic stretches that prepare your body for gardening. You will learn how to adapt gardening tasks to make them easier to do. You will learn static stretches to help cool down your body and increase flexibility.
As an avid gardener, I understand the importance of staying injury-free so I can keep doing what I love. I created this workshop because I want to help other gardeners keep gardening. The workshop consists of four live, one-hour classes that are interactive and personalized for your group's needs. With a maximum of 10 people per class, each person will get individual attention and guidance to help them improve their gardening longevity.
You don't have to leave your home to participate. The Zoom classes are live and interactive, so you can join us from anywhere in the world. All you need is a chair, pillow, exercise band, and yoga mat, and you're ready to go.
As a certified personal trainer with an MS in Health Promotion and a Teaching Yoga to Seniors certification, I have the credentials and expertise to help you improve your gardening abilities safely and effectively.
