This virtual workshop is available to groups. It consists of four live, one-hour, interactive classes on Zoom. These participatory classes are for gardeners who want to extend their ability to garden by learning and practicing adaptive gardening habits.
Every Spring we happily pick up our shovels and hoes to prepare our gardens. We long to get our starts into the ground. And then we get hurt, from doing what we've always done. We can learn to modify how we garden, so, we can keep gardening.
In this workshop, you will learn functional movements to help prevent injury while gardening. You will warm up with dynamic stretches that prepare the body for gardening. You will practice functional moves for doing gardening tasks. You will use static stretches to cool down the body and increase flexibility.
